Britta Erickson-Baker
Leader, spiritual, passionate, friendly, caring, charismatic, organized, independent, coffee aficionado.
Likes: The outdoors, traveling, anything vintage, collecting baseball hats, warm weather, summer rain, hockey, live music, iced coffee and trying new foods
Dislikes: Cold weather, bad drivers, black coffee, creepy-crawlies and microfiber towels
Britta Erickson-Baker is originally from Houston, Texas. Britta attended Texas State University (go Bobcats!) and graduated with a bachelors degree in Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Design. In college, she served as the Margaritaville University Ambassador for Texas State and volunteered at the local animal shelters in her spare time. Over the course of her career post-grad, Britta has been exposed to many different industries. She has experience in food and beverage, event planning, marketing, graphic design and now construction and project development. While she was living in Austin, Britta volunteered with SXSW as a Crew Manager, Seedling as a Mentor, Alliance for Women in Media as the Trailblazer & Awards of Excellence Co-Chair and with Ad 2 Austin as a member, mentor and Membership Chair. Starting from a young age, Britta has had a calling to help others and those who cannot help themselves. Children and families facing poverty, homelessness and foster care always resonated with her and Britta joined the Houston Angels Board of Directors as the Events Chair and Secretary. Seeing the incredible impact on the families and youth that Angels helps every day, she knew this was one of her true callings. Being able to further the message of such a wonderful organization and see a true difference in how these families and youth live their lives when they have access to such a wonderful support system is what keeps Britta going. She believes that everyone deserves a loving home, life and family. She was led to Nashville to make a difference and is excited to see how Nashville Angels improves the lives of those who need help the most.
