Shelby Mahsman was born and raised in New London, Missouri. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Missouri with her bachelors degree in Communication. After a few years of working at a bank and struggling to find her purpose, Shelby moved to Music City, USA: Nashville, Tennessee. On her journey to pursue venue management, she had the desire to volunteer, but wasn’t sure where to start. In the fall of 2018, her coworker (President, Amanda Garren) came to her with a crazy idea: she wanted to start a nonprofit. The search was over! Shelby joined the team and never looked back. God placed this in her lap. Shelby is so thrilled to begin this journey with Nashville Angels. She was raised in a VERY large family and wants every child to feel the love and support she felt in those crucial early years. She believes that this organization will have lasting effects on the children and families being served.
